Resumo:
The aim of this study was to identify the symptoms of stress and Burnout Syndrome, in addition to the variables associated with these among criminal experts. Pearson's correlation test and logistic regression revealed which variables showed association with stress and Burnout. Fifty-five individuals participated, of these 65.45% presented Burnout and 34.55% presented stress. Factors that increased the risk of Burnout were verified: lack of institutional recognition, leave’s delay, and willingness to change positions within the institution. As for stress, the risk was increased among those who had recently felt sadness, work for productivity, and do constant overtime.
