Résumé:
This article is the result of a research in lacanian psychoanalysis entitled as "The women of Almodóvar: about the excesses of the female jouissance", developed by the Scientific Initiation Program of the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande. Historically, authors such as Freud and Lacan have used myths in their theories as a way of illustrating the transmission of their ideas. In this text we use elements of the films of the director Pedro Almodóvar to elucidate points of the theory, acceding to authors who produce about the feminine in the point of view of the psychoanalysis. This work aims to discuss the lacanian concept of jouissance and how it is portrayed in the films of Pedro Almodóvar, through the reading of psychoanalytic texts about jouissance beyond phallus and feminine. We worked on concepts such as The Woman, feminine jouissance - that is not totally drained by phallic mediation - and the ravage, that happens in the woman's relationship with her mother and with her love partnerships.
