Abstract:
Currently, there is in scientific research that has been much debate about the moral
and ethical behavior of human, in this sense, the values can express each human
being's feelings, becoming the base of their ethical commitments related to moral
beginnings inside of a society. With that, this study aims to analyses which the
perception of the pupils of the course of Specialization in Public Management of the
UFCG as for the Ethical Values. For so much, the present study is polished in a
bibliographical inquiry and of field work, being characterized like a descriptive study
with the intention of showing the ethical values in the Civil Service. Besides, to be
characterized like qualitative inquiry, because of making use of the analysis of data to
explain the investigated points. Being identified in the analysis that 66,66% of the
pupils affirms say that a good training ethic can go beyond legal obligations, but also
the necessary trust between citizens and public servants. Before the exposed one, is
expected of public servants a greater awareness of its role as an agent responsible for
their decisions and actions. The respondents believe that the adoption of a code of
ethics inhibited irregular actions between the servant and the society. What
demonstrates the necessity of if recognizing the sense of the work socially committed
to the public actions. Given the above, one can conclude that the ethics should be
considered as an indispensable tool in the activities of public servants.
