Resumo:
The objective of this study is to characterize the profile of the closures of the services rendered at the Federal University of Campina Grande - Campus I. The objective of this study is to draw profiles and characterize how these closures have occurred, the motivations that have led to the end users, which have deep meaning for the subjects involved in the context of the psychological clinic. The research was carried out by means of the survey and analysis of the variables contained in the screening and closure sheets filed in the documentary collection of the institution, in the period from November 2014 (beginning of operation of the Service) to December 2017 (end of the 2017.2 school year). The result obtained points to a high rate of people who carry out the screening process, but who do not enter the therapy process in the service. In addition, the vast majority of terminations at the UFCG School Service come from user withdrawal, which differs from termination due to unjustified absences. In 40% of the cases concluded in the period from 2014 to the end of the academic year 2017.2, service users reported that they would no longer attend the therapy, which had not yet been closed. The research has shown that the UFCG Service-School dropout rate is high. Although this implies a problem, this index can be reduced. Studies on the subject are necessary to continuously promote a better adaptation of services by increasing knowledge and needs and contributing to a greater social insertion of Psychology, besides contributing to the training of university students.
