Resumen:
The entrance in the university causes ruptures in the affective, familiar and academic life. Initiation
researches in the last three years about aspects of affiliation pointed to the need for an intervention.
The research was guided by the action-research methodology, from the creation of an academic
support group, using Creativity Workshops as an intervention tool and semistructured interviews for
group evaluation. The results obtained through the Thematic Analysis, generated themes and
categories that revealed threats to the affiliation, as well as denoting the workshop workshop as a
facilitador for permanence. The group was described as a place of welcome, listening and autonomy,
allowing subjective expression, perception of collective and incentive to affiliation. It is concluded that
the support group is a necessary tool for the institutional politics of student assistance. It was possible
to observe the relevance of action-research and workshops for a deepening of the forms of intervention
with the students.
