Resumo:
The study of ethics applied to public administration suggests a concern with social
development and human dignity. It is proposed here, an analysis of the importance of
the ethics for the new administration, in order to enable the public servant as well
associety in general, reflect on the ethics and its commitment to new public
management, electing as its priority concepts and principles in building a more just
and appropriate conduct to new times, in addition, to inform, with a focus on aspects
forming an ethical awareness about the guidelines of the new government. The fund
aims is the statement of the ethics as an instrument of efficient and modern public
management. For this purpose, we used three aspects that strengthen the
management of the ethics, citizenship, transparency and liability, the latter derived
from the concept of accountability. The use of those three aspects, driven by ongoing
technological progress as a means of contribute to the effectiveness of this new
model leaving in evidence that no reform or administrative model can ignore the
human element and distance himself from ethical principles.
