The causal link between illness and work has been a factor that makes diagnosis difficult when it comes to mental health. So, CEREST was created as a public policy for worker health, where its data and actions provide support to promote worker health and prevent illness. In order to analyze the most relevant data about mental illness of workers, it has been aimed to identify (a) which are the main causes of mental disorders that can be found at documented academic productions, as well as in (b) the interventions proposed to improve the quality of life of Brazilian workers, in the CEREST data. Therefore, a systematic review of academic production was carried out through the key words: "mental health", "worker health", and "CEREST", in the academic bases Lilacs, Scielo, Pepsic and PubMed. A total of twelve publications were found. After exclusions either due to repetitions or because the studies were about the physical illness, our sample is defined to eight written. The results showed that the lack of proper conditions to exercise the activity, the lack of recognition of the effort and dedication of the professional in favor of the activity, as well as certain situations such as harassment or humiliation, are sickening factors. There are other issues within the identification, support and assistance to the MHW system (Mental Health in the Workplace) that are harmful not only the worker's health, but also affects the supporting network proposed for this target group. Moreover, the results also pointed out possibilities of interventions that assist in addressing the problem in different phases. Thus, notifications are of the utmost importance because they bring the possibility of thinking about the employee's care and, consequently, of the class, besides guiding the companies to an action based on the mental health of these employees. Therefore, the research shows scientific and social relevance.
