Résumé:
Hospitalization may be presented as a stressful and frightening situation. the time of hospitalization shows even more intense and mobilizer of negative feelings in children and adolescents. The illness presents unknown situations that children and adolescents need to deal with in which they have to experience a different reality at the same time as they are removed from the spaces they occupy daily. Thus, Psychology is part of the search for minimizing the suffering caused by the disease process and its consequences. Considering the importance of psychological care during children's hospitalization, this study aims to discuss about the possibilities of action in pediatric psychology, through ludic interventions during the curricular internship of emphasis of a graduate in Psychology from Federal University of Campina Grande. The following recreational resources were used: paper and pencil, drawings containing the hospital environment, games, toys, finger puppet, directed activities, small boxes of questions, short videos and children's books that addressed situations common to hospitalization reality. Through ludic care, we can provide psychological support to hospitalized children and adolescents; and at the same time, offer forms of expression and understanding of feelings and experiences during hospitalization. The insertion of ludic in psychological assistance provided new ways for children and adolescents to express the meanings of illness and hospitalization; and highlighted the need for reinventing the hospital psychological practice, offering comprehensive and humanized care.
