Abstract

The logistics study has been growing and gaining market share in recent years within the companies that came up with the need for organizational companies for management and efficient administration, thus aiming to provide improvements in operating costs and better availability of products, adapting the real needs of the target audience. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the logistics distribution system in the company Distribuidora LTDA Food Smile in Sousa - PB. Thus, this production intended to instigate reflections on the level of service provided by the organization, the quality offered to customers, as well as recognition of these by their services and processes in an increasingly demanding society and aware of their rights. The proposed study enables management professionals to interact with business reality, offering knowledge through perception of the services offered by institutions engaged in the logistics function. Relative to the collected data, they point to the services performed promptly in the logistics distribution industry, comprising thereby the goods resale to the activities require the adoption of this important strategy to manage their inventory, and also an intense performance of an operations management from the negotiation for the purchase of products to the final sale to customers, which requires responsibility, full, sales managers, as they ensure, in addition to the commitment of the commercial sector, the effective share of sales and consequent return financial, setting thus the main purpose of the company. We stress the importance of all elements and tasks that ensure the proper functioning of the company, which need an information system that facilitates the procedures to be performed in order to carry out the management process, fundamental to any organization, and that this scope, falls mainly to the logistics industry. Using the method of case study, this research fits as descriptive, for demonstrating best elements of the proposed work. Concerning the obtaining highly significant results to the investigated context, we use the collection of information, concepts and data in books, dissertations, electronic publications and other documents with descriptive approach and qualitative nature, which is characterized by development and clearing of ideas, function to provide a broad overview of a particular phenomenon. The study showed also the knowledge of the difficulties, as well as the positive aspects of staging the company in logistics Thus, the research sought to show how is the operation of the logistics department of the Distributor DSA. synthetically they were identified the main activities that the sector plays, or activities considered essential, such as receipt of goods, organization of warehouse, inventory control, stock security system, routing, among others. In this context, all activities have been described, entirely consistent with the discussion in the literature as the soffits of the authors presented in this discussion.
