Resumen:
Psychology training implies, in addition to theoretical disciplines, the articulation between theory and practice through the supervised stages. It is in supervision that fundamental aspects are worked out, such as the need for the trainee to develop a professional attitude. From this perspective, the present work had the objective of reviewing the literature about the importance of supervision in the professional formation of the Psychologist. Thus, an exploratory and descriptive study of the bibliography about the subject was carried out, using the Scielo, Lillacs, PePsic database, as well as books. The registers bring the different perspectives about the orientation, as well as its management, pointing out the facilitating elements and difficulties present in the scope of the Psychology internships. Finally, it is concluded that although there is an ideal model of orientation and supervision, it is one of the main pillars in the practice of internship, along with it was realized the importance of theory and the trainees are in the process of psychotherapy.
