Abstract:
The practice of non-directive psychotherapy is sometimes misunderstood in its performance. For many reasons, it is wrongly understood that the psychotherapeutic process happens in a random manner or without order. Contrary to the thinking of many, Carl Rogers, founder of the Person-Centered Approach, shows that in his practice it is not directive or the therapeutic process occurs following some phases that despite the background are between each other are perceived in different degrees of the process. The present work is an account of the experience of a therapist starting from a cut of a real case, based on a theory rogeriana. Using the description of the content produced by the client during the sessions of psychotherapy, the concepts of reflection and notes, the elaboration of the service excerpts that serve as the basis for indicating a new way of perception of the client in relation to itself, For a positive outcome of the therapeutic process.
