Resumo:
Social responsibility is an action for the future, not a trend, marketing or ideology, but a new
concept of self-sustainable society, therefore it is increasing as a strategy of quality in the
business world. In spite of this, what can be seen at present is that despite the discussion
about the responsibility that the company has with the environment and with the interpersonal relationships, the actions are still insufficient and, as a result, there is a scenario that demands urgent changes. So, faced with the need for new proposals of scientific studies that
deal with the issue, this study aimed the analysis of the utilization of social and environmental practices in the bank Bradesco of the city of Pombal - PB, in light of the perception of its
contributors. In order to provide necessary support for the increase of contributions about the
study displayed, the research is classified as being a case study with a qualitative, bibliographic, descriptive and exploratory approach. Was sought for the achievement of the objective, a route with open and semi-structured interviews made at Bradesco agency in the city of
Pombal-PB. It appears that the actions of social responsibility applied by the agency are insufficient to satisfy the needs of the community of Pombal. It is noted that these practices are
performed occasionally, with distinct goals, with no monitoring and informally performed , a
fact that could be reviewed by Bradesco, since such actions bring direct influence on the
economic, financial and cultural development of the people from Pombal.
