Resumo:
Whereas currently the term Corporate Social Responsibility is present in the context
of companies whether medium or large, this issue is often seen by companies
voluntarily or in most cases are required to meet standards and current legislation on
the impacts generated by the production and operation of its activities. This research
aimed to investigate the CSR practices of companies listed on the BM&FBOVESPA
belonging to the oil, gas and biofuels light of ISO 26000. The research method used
was deductive it is an investigative resource that assumes that all available
information about the companies surveyed are true. Analysis of the information
shows that despite being companies that cause negative impacts to the environment,
all have projects and programs that seek to minimize their effects. On the information
presented, it is concluded that, although not all companies introduce in their
environmental management structure to Standard ISO 26000, are directly or
indirectly in accordance with the principles of this standard.
