Résumé:
The reuse of water for agricultural purposes is of great importance, mainly in the sustainability and preservation of water resources, which is used in the irrigation of fruits, vegetables and vegetables. The use of effluents in Water Treatment Plants –WTP, particularly for non-potable purposes, in meeting the demand for irrigation, presents itself as an important instrument to restore the balance between water supply and demand. Of
the waste generated, the water used in the cleaning and discharge procedures of the filters stands out, which is often released into the environment. The inadequate disposal of liquid waste that is produced in WTP constitutes an environmental problem that deserves attention in view of the need to preserve the water quality of the springs, as they are
influenced by the inadequate release of this waste. Thus, the objective of this work was to evaluate the potential for reusing water from filter washing and bottom discharge from the Water Treatment Station -WTPin the municipality of Várzea Alegre –CE, Brazil, for agricultural purposes. Monitoring of laboratory analyzes of raw water, filtered water and
filter washing water was carried out, which assessed the physical-chemical and microbiological characteristics of the -WTP and the WasteWaterTreatment Plant – ETRGWWTP. The results of the analyzes were compared with the guidelines and norms that establish safe and reliable standards for the use of water in agricultural activities in
accordance with the legislation in force Resolution of the National Water Resources Council -CNRH No. 121, of December 16, 2010, which establishes guidelines and criteria for the practice of direct non-potable reuse of water in the agricultural and forestry modality, defined in Resolution CNRH law Nº 54, of November 28, 2005 and COEMA
Resolution Nº 02 of February 2017 at the level of the State of Ceará. The management of water resources with -WWTPallows the production of an effluent with quality and quantity sufficiently suitable for use in activities and disposal in agricultural reuse, in accordance with the standards required by environmental legislation. Therefore, the -WWTPin the
municipality of Várzea Alegre -CE presents a treatment of -WTP waste that produces effluent with the standards within the Maximum PermittedValues required by legislation for agricultural purposes.According to Agenda 2030 on the Sustainable Development Goals, item 06 - Drinking Water and Sanitation and item - 12 Responsible Consumption and Production are as the objectives presented in the referred work.
