Résumé:
The present scientific work has the objective of analyzing Law nº 11.340 / 06, known
as the Maria da Penha Law, focusing on urgent protective measures. The subject
developed is titled: '' Maria da Penha Law and the (in) Effectiveness of Protective
Measures. "The work was guided by the following objectives: to present the history of
gender violence, then to demonstrate the process of creating the Maria da Penha
Law and analyze it, commencing at the end the presentation of urgent protective
measures and establishing a critique of Execution. The work is composed, in terms
of theoretical reference, works by renowned national and international scholars and
scholars and information contained in specialized articles published on websites. To
reach the study proposal, the use of bibliographic methods and the presentation of
some data collected through research in articles were relevant. It should be noted
that the subject studied is of great relevance since domestic violence is a serious
problem that plagues many homes in Brazil, thus necessitating the victim of
measures that protect and punish the aggressor. At the end of the work the following
conclusion was reached for the problem and the hypothesis elaborated: problem -
How to put urgent protective measures into practice effectively? Hypothesis: The
urgent protective measures of Law 11,340 / 06 are extremely important and
innovative institutes in the Brazilian legislative system, but they still require a greater
integration between the text of the law and agencies that put the measures into
practice, so that they may have Greater effectiveness.
