Resumo:
This study is to identify the management practices of social responsibility are used by
industrial enterprises of the city of Sousa-PB. The paper focuses on the theoretical
aspects Social Responsibility emphasizing the importance of the actions of a social
nature to promote the development of the company demonstrating the benefits and
advantages for organizations that adhere to this process and highlight aspects that
characterize a socially responsible management. The deductive method was used, with
a qualitative and quantitative. Data were collected from a sample of 17 companies from
a total of 54. Information was collected through a structured form with questions
targeted at the managers of the industries surveyed. It was noticed that there is an
interest by companies to adopt ethical procedures with their internal and external
audiences, 58.8% of managers said they encourage their employees through subsidies
or beneficial for the performance achieved in carrying out their activities, 82.4 %
acknowledge the criticisms and suggestions for improvement of their internal
processes, 94.1% use of transparency in the information passed to all its employees
who are concerned to ensure safety at work of its employees and have no disabilities in
their staff. We conclude that in the current context of backlands paraibano are anxious
to adopt practices of social responsibility, suggesting that these organizations develop
their activities taking into account ethical, social and environmental.
