Abstract:
Given the current demands of the competitive market, the challenge for service providers is
to meet customer needs. In this respect, it is necessary to provide a quality service. This
study aims to evaluate the general perception of entrepreneurs in the sector of footwear
trade in Pombal - PB on the quality of accounting services. For this purpose, it was used a
field survey and literature, descriptive, with a quantitative approach.For the data collection
was used a questionnaire with multiple choice objective questions. With the data collection
was possible to organize tables to understand the findings highlight that entrepreneurs have
the view that accounting professionals are directed only to fiscal and social activities of the
company, where respondents highlight that the accounting service is the principal service
provided by the counter (10 march), the front of the declaration of income tax (6 options).
When asked if the services are responding satisfactorily outstanding entrepreneurs who are
being well served eight (8), has only 2 (two) disagree. There is also a gap between the
accountant and businessman, as there is a need on the part of entrepreneurs in relation to
clarification about the accounting and what its real purpose. So it is necessary that the
accountants review the concepts they use and try to innovate, generating information that
can contribute to the development of these companies.
