Abstract:
Within a teaching perspective, we intend to demonstrate this monograph, the teaching
methodologies used by teachers of upper level, along the course of Accounting Science at
UFCG (Federal University of Campina Grande), Campus de Sousa-PB. Higher education in
Brazil suffers every day changes, and introduction of new styles of teaching to learning is of
paramount importance, so that we can have not only an effective teaching, effective teaching
as well, making the student not only a technical or a researcher, but a critic who knows face
the most diverse situations within the course and its labor market. Today with the advent of
globalization, one needs skilled professionals who have a wide range of expertise in various
areas since the system itself commercial, industrial, public or private, need a feedback from
these professionals, leading to the development azienda in which they work and satisfaction
to those who use their services. Only with a strong education, and innovative techniques that
allow for better learning, we can have a professional working and with an open mind for the
future, using some good methods of the past as well as changing others, and eliminating
those that somehow ceased the development of higher education. The Federal University of
Campina Grande introduced in 2004, Campus de Sousa-PB, the course of Accountancy,
which aroused the interest of several students and technicians of the profession, graduating
from that course, which becomes for teachers in higher education, more of a challenge,
looking through a prism, they are people who already have a working knowledge, then it is
the questioning, the techniques for this type of student are the same or change? What is
important for good learning is that both the students as teachers, interact in such a way that
there is a mutual learning, where all share experiences and knowledge. The questionnaire
obtained results that show the strengths and weaknesses in the use of teaching and learning
in the course of Accounting Sciences, Campus Sousa-PB, where we observed common
characteristics and others that show the importance of considering these facts, to improve
teaching and ad the methods used.The methodology, refers to the type of research that was
used, and descriptive field, where he reported the facts contained in the questionnaire,
examining a specific population. With the enhancement of higher education in Brazil, it is
expected that there is a further development and training of teachers at tertiary level, but
without forgetting that it is of vital importance to fix many of the resources for basic education
is the foundation of everything, because , a student with a school well done, will certainly be
a university with the capacity to assimilate the knowledge of an undergraduate degree,
specialization, master's and even a doctorate.
