The use of public resources must is turned to the quality of life of the general population, according to the needs of each region. Since the public sector involves the collective interest activities therefore is not intended to profit in the service provided, therefore, is subject to the requirements and social conveniences, even if extended to the whole community. In this sense, it is relevant to public organizations know the best way to apply its resources and thereby contribute to its efficiency. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the performance of the micro-region of the municipalities of Sousa-PB in relation to social, financial and environmental indicators. Using the literature, descriptive, exploratory and quantitative research. In which analyzed 17 municipalities surrounding the macro-region of Sousa, obtaining the necessary information through a data collection performed on the IBGE and also in the Sagres site. Being researched 16 performance indicators in 2015. Noting the analysis of the results, the overall average, these 17 municipalities are in critical condition and alert, with situations of high spending especially in social indicator, which refers education, health, transport, social welfare, security, housing and culture. In the environmental criteria, the results were not very different, no municipality had acceptable index in environmental management, by the way, all municipalities are in critical condition and alert, only 6 of the 17 cities have invested in environmental management. In general, these municipalities are in need of a makeover in their strategic plans to improve mainly the critical state of which are the economic dimension, since it supports all other sectors of municipal management.
