Resumen:
The present study aimed to systematize scientific academic productions focused on the issue of intervention in burnout syndrome. One conducted an exploratory literature research on SCIELO and LILACS databases using the paired descriptors: burnout and intervention; burnout and treatment; professional exhaustion and intervention; and occupational stress and intervention. The bibliographic material found was subdivided into three categories concerning burnout syndrome: need for intervention; possibility of intervention; and carrying out intervention. The productions that reported the interventions are minimal, thereby enabling the report of existing interventions and the questioning of the low production and/or publication about this topic. Furthermore, it is expected that this study will provide a reflection regarding this issue, and that will inspire and configure itself as an invitation to the opening of a space where interventions in burnout syndrome can be performed, shared, and reach the professionals who are in distress.
