Résumé:
The Psycopathy is a personality trouble that sits in the society as a focus of curiosity, fascination and great repercussions, considering they are cold people, uncapable of loving and feeling remorse, persuasive and convincing. In this perspective, it is necessary a rigorous psychological evaluation to conclude a diagnosis of this nature. There are many instruments to detect cases of personality trouble, among them the Rorshach and Pfister. Being the Psychopathy Check-list Revised (PCR-L), known as the Hare Escale, the only one to confirm if a person is actually psychopath. In this approach, the present article had as objective presenting a systematic revision of scientific literature about the antisocial personality – the psychopathy, having as the main instrument of diagnosis, the Hare Escale. Enriched with precepts of psychological evaluation on the forensic area, which will give support to approach this affair in a coherent and satisfactory way. Making clear that psychopaths are not only those who commit crimes, but they can cause a big damage in families, organizations and whole communities. Therefore, this research aimed to contribute to the practical and theoretical knowledge of the Hare Escale as a new instrument of Psychological Evaluation on forensic area.
