Resumo:
The way to play bears the marks of historical time, the contemporary world does not
escape this prerogative at this time there is the technological absorption in children's
toys. The social context favors the arrival of new modes of play, as the family and
social relationships have changed. Electronic games is one way to play that is present in
the daily lives of children and has spread increasingly reverberating in the way of life of
the little guys. T hus, the main objective of this work is to reflect the impact of play in
the contemporary world, especially through the arcades, in the child's psyche. For this, a
literature review from the psychoanalytic theory about the theme was conducted, as well
as ownership of the documentary "Tarja White: The revolution that lacked" to illustrate
the subject matter. he path trodden in the study was from the aesthetic and attributive
transformations toy throughout history, the role of play in childhood to Sigmund Freud
and Donald Winnicott, the games of today and the impact of new modes of play in
children.
