Resumo:
Despite having a long history, the use of psychoactive substances only became a matter of concern a few decades ago, making within the Public Policies in Brazil was created a specific space for service users of these substances. This article aims to bring some questions about the drug addiction by building the clinical case of Christiane Vera Felscherinow, based on its history and life described in her biography, analyzing how was the treatment at the time of Christiane, in contrast with the way that it currently happens in Brazil. The issue of treatment is an important factor, perhaps decisive, for the individual to get out of the place of drug addict, and of the satisfaction and suffering that the drug provides. Then, through the studies of psychoanalysts Jacques Lacan and Claude Olievenstein we understand how psychoanalysis can contribute to this issue that escapes so easily between the three proposed structures - psychosis, neurosis and perversion - and how a clinical one-on-one can be the difference for treatment.
