Résumé:
Abortion is a controversial social issue, which raises different and diverse opinions. Due to the stigma related to abortion, professionals are not always prepared professionally or socially to assist a woman who has undergone an abortion, be it provoked or spontaneous. Given the relevance of the subject and understanding the importance of a humanized care to the woman in abortion situation, I was motivated to contemplate this theme in my Conclusion Work. Thus, the present study aims to identify the available evidence in the literature about the humanized care in nursing to women in situations of abortion. This is an integrative review guided by the following question What are the available evidence in the literature about humanized nursing care for women in situations of abortion? To conduct the research, the data were collected in the Scielo database and in the virtual portal VHL, eight scientific productions were included in the study and the data obtained were analyzed in light of the pertinent literature. It was observed from this research regarding the scientific production involving humanized assistance to women who experienced abortion, that in 2005, 2009 and 2012, 2 studies were published each year. As for the periodicals of publication, the most important Brazilian journals in the field of nursing stand out, and among the scientific productions the case studies and the research described-exploratory stand out. The analysis of the articles included in the present integrative review gathered the results in two thematic categories: Humanized care experienced by women in situations of abortion; and Dehumanized care experienced by women in situations of abortion. Based on this study, it is evident that women in situations of abortion, if in some studies, reported receiving a humanized care demonstrated by patience, identification by name, and interest on the part of the nursing professional; on the other hand from some publications, it was possible to verify that the dehumanized care is verified both by the users and by the assisting professionals who participated in the investigations, which reinforces the need to discuss the subject in order to provide decent and competent care.
