Resumo:
Aim To investigate which neglected diseases are approached during nursing graduation; to identify the curricular components that approach neglected diseases; to select the relative contents to neglected diseases and to identify type and year of bibliographical references recommended that approach neglected diseases. Method: Descriptive research, qualitative nature, documental analysis modality, constituted of teaching plans of a nursing undergraduate course in the city of Campina Grande, from September 3 to October 23, 2018. Results: The following neglected diseases are addressed: dengue fever, leishmaniasis, tuberculosis, Hansen's disease and malaria. Supplied in four disciplines theoretical-practical subjects in the 3rd and 7th period, with an optional one. It is verified concise teaching plans and desatualização in the recommended references. Final considerations: Although the teaching of those diseases is approached, it is done necessary to reflect about fragilities as the absence of priority negligenced diseases in Brazil; the focus of the teaching in only two periods and the descriptive limitation of the contents programáticos.
