Résumé:
Objective: to describe the leadership profile of nurses through the theoretical perspective of the Grid
managerial. Methods: Quantitative study of a basic nature, with a descriptive purpose in the search
to expose, classify and interpret the data, carried out with 55 nurses from a hospital
public. A structured questionnaire was used with sociodemographic data, professionals
and leadership. For data analysis, the results were categorized by statistics
descriptive. Results: The Dominant leadership profile of nurses was leadership
Conservative/organizational man present in 50% of the dimensions evaluated in the actions
primary, while the subdominant was identified as the Paternalist/Club Campestre leadership
in 67% of Dimensions in secondary actions. Conclusion: The leadership process of
assessed nurses provides a balanced performance, with comfortable actions in the face of
proposed variables, but limited by institutional norms.
