Abstract:
Only after many years, the childhood, which is considered the most vulnerable phase
of a human being, started to be protected by the State, through the Federal
Constitution of 1988 and the Statute of Children and Teenagers. Although, even with
all the juridical basis existent, cruel and archaic acts of children’s sexual violence still
exists in our society. Sexual violence brings a big problematic to its victims’ lives.
Having a stronger impact, when this victim is a child and the aggressor is someone
who is trusted by the child, with emotional and blood ties. There are many elements
in this kind of violence, among them, the preference by the aggressor regarding a
child’s situation of vulnerability, the syndrome of the secret which involves the victims
and, many times, other people of the family, that not exteriorize the violence that is
happening. In this way, it is fundamental to highlight the consequences that are
brought by the victims of this cruelty act, and later try to draw mechanisms which are
capable to forbid this violent act that happens so often in our society, and that
demand a huge sensibility, regarding to the affective ties which connect victim to
aggressor. In the elaboration of this work, we used the approach method deductive,
the procedure historic comparative and juridical exegetic, and the research technique
explorative, which has a theoretic character of reading books, scholar papers and
juridical documents which base sexual violence themes which happen to a child into
the family center.
