Resumo:
The study aimed to characterize the spontaneous demand at a primary health care service. Therefore, it was done a descriptive research with quantitative approach. It was utilized a structured form, applied to the patients of a primary health care Unit. The calculus of the sample was based on an average of a semester attendance, resulting in 104 patients. The sample was probabilistic with simple random. The data was charted and analyzed by the software Statistical Package for Social Science for Windows (SPSS) version 12. The results showed an attendance based on spontaneous demand and also a big number of clients satisfaction related to problems resolution, but the last one was related directly with low complexity complaints on the attendances, which is in its majority classified as complaints conduct service. As a result, it was highlighted the necessity of a reeducation about the goal and function of a basic health, so it would be great a change in a process of service organization, and also about the importance of following the strategies of planning and management of attendance with focus on promotion, prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of health.
