Resumo:
In education are common to different forms of learning and teaching , this fact is perceived by those involved in the teaching- learning process, which in short featuring certain preferences in order to process the information. This study had as theoretical foundation learning styles according to the vision of David Kolb, this will involve directly possible compromise of how teaching and learning that benefits everyone involved in teaching-learning process in a general context.The present study aimed to identify the dominant style of learning among students of the degree course in Accounting Sciences from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) in Paraíba. The methodology used was descriptive and bibliographic study and field research as a tool for data collection the Learning Styles Inventory Kolb was used, with its universe, composed of 253 students , the sample accessibility covered by this study is 158 composed of students, which corresponds to 62.45% of the population under analysis. In results that are contacted, the style that prevailed was the assimilator,with 47.20%. People with this style reveal people with inductive reasoning as well as to possess skills to develop abstract and theoretical models.
