Resumo:
The phenomenon of bullying in the workplace is becoming increasingly common in
the current context of labor relations. This phenomenon submits the employee to
constant humiliation, persecution and ill-treatment, seriously affecting their physical
and psychological health. This paper clarifies the concept of bullying in its technical
sense, as characterized harassment, and also the consequences for the victim and
the environment where it develops this kind of conduct. For this, no idea to defend
discrimination against women and the exploitation of the worker, male or female, but
also the development of a healthy working environment, which seeks to prevent and
suppress any manifestations of psychological terror, and duty employer, as the
subject responsible for directing the work environment. Thus, the objective of this
work is to contribute and expand the legal and social visibility of this phenomenon.
And analyze on how the phenomenon receives legal protection in the Brazilian legal
system, how to know the consequences that this phenomenon can cause, both to the
health of the victim, as for the company's organization and the work environment. In
order to demonstrate that the information and prevention are the best ways to
combat this problem.
