Resumen:
This Master's dissertation aims to analyze the power bloc in Brazil, during the period
between the two governments of Luis Inácio Lula da Silva (2003-2010). The general
objective of this research is to analyze and understand the relationship among State,
government and class fractions within the power bloc in Brazil. We will work with the
hypothesis that the fraction of large industrial and agrarian bourgeoisie internal improved
their relative position within the power bloc, even not winning the hegemony within the
block, as the hegemonic class fraction is the national and international financial bourgeoisie. In our secondary hypothesis, we will work that the neoliberal macroeconomic model remains the same, there is only change in the strength of correlation within the block in power and discourse from the old orthodox neoliberalism, put their neoliberal economic policy remains.
