Résumé:
This study sought to understand why the difficulty of conquering equality in the field of the
right of women's work in relation to the work of man, especially with regard to the wage
gap between them, since they are witnesses daily women playing the same functions as
man and earning far less than these because of their womanhood. For this, we used the
method of deductive hypothetical research, becoming an indirect desk study an
evolutionary historical perspective of the laws on the topic. Throughout the studies, we
note that women have made their entry into the labor market and that is in the legal
system parental rights laws that protect and enshrine the rights of women's work still
remains the existence of wage differentials as a result of sex. Considering the
development of this work, it concludes that the woman conquered in the course of
decades, a respectable space in the labor market. Brazilian law has guaranteed women
security and freedom in society so that they can exercise their rights and obligations.
Today the woman stands out in large sectors in the labor market, however, the search for
improvement is a fight that continues, as seen the wage gap even if little is still there, so
there's lots to evolve, since the labor market itself is always in constant development.
