Résumé:
This research aims to analyze the transnational organized crime, in the age of globalization, starting from the perspective of Brazilian economic criminal law. The title of the subject that was developed is “The Economic Criminal Law in Brazil and the Transnational Organized Crime in the Age of Globalization". The research was based on the following goals: the influence of globalization as an increasing stimulus for a transnational organized crime in Brazil; Listing the preventive actions by Brazilian Economic Criminal Law to face organized crime; Reporting the Brazilian normative application against the transnational crimes; Observing how the Brazilian state apparatus is adapted to the transnational organized crime growing expansion. The research consists, in theoretical referential terms, in works of famous national scholars, jurisprudence and information contained in specialized articles published on websites. For reach of the proposed activity, was used the bibliographical method, exegetical juridical and data collection by documental search. The research concludes that the topic is important, considering it is the center of discussions, composing the legislating activity of contemporary authors. At the end of the study, there was a confirmation of the issue and the hypothesis elaborated also, the problem: What is the role of Brazil in the international scenario of fight against organized crime? Hypothesis: Yes, so to ratify international treaties and conventions as well as the creation of rules and agencies to combat transnational organized crime.
