Abstract:
Slave labor is a relevant issue in national and international harvest, being conceptualized as all
forms of forced or compulsory labor this is the concept carved in Convention 29 of the
International Labour Organization (ILO, 1930). When faced with a work under these
conditions, it has been the practice of a crime for which curtails the freedom of workers,
violating human rights. Therefore, this study addresses is the subject of the slave labor of
Haitians in Brazil, and is expounded from concept work and slave labor to the PEC against
slave labor, considerations about Haiti, the peace mission led by Brazil in that country ,
migration routes, oversight bodies against slave labor of Haitian migrants and violations of
their human rights. The visa granted to Haitians for humanitarian reasons is a useful tool to
supplement protection and aims to be one of the responses to the displacement of people
suffering the effects of natural disasters. There were thus two main recent Haitian slave labor
migrants were reported to the Ministry of Labor cases, but the organizations that work to
combat slave labor of immigrants alert to the seriousness of the problem. The position of
Brazil as to the condition of the Haitian shows up pioneer, with framing these as
environmental migrants and displaced granting humanitarian visa for greater protection of
these foreigners lined respecting human rights.
