Résumé:
The international human trafficking is the third illegal activity more profitable around the world. The present paper is based on the principles of the criminal sex law and the human dignity, aimed on the study of the legal protection of the victims. This paper focuses in a general study of international human trafficking, approaching the historical evolution of trafficking from the beginning of slavery to the present days, pointing the major factors for the crime. The deductive approach to research was used to write this paper, which consists in discovering a truth from other truths already known. Which works from the more general to the more specific. The research is secondary and the research technic was a literature and document review, the main base texts drawn up by the United Nations (UN). An introductory research was made about the sexual crimes and prostitution, aiming to define the legal protection property, making clear that protection nowadays must be the sexual freedom. Being the Palermo Protocol the main object of this study and basis of international law in the subject, starting by a comparison at the changes adopted by Brazilian legislation after the enactment, as well the changing on the article 231, of Criminal Code, which is not yet fully adjusted to the recommended by the Protocol even after two ratifications, being the last one made by the Law number 12.015 of August 7th, 2009, which is still limited to international human trafficking for sexual purposes, not approach the other ways of exploitation.
