Resumo:
This study aimed to present the perceptions of students, teachers and contractor in that regard the skills and competencies of Accounting Professional. Through a questionnaire with open and closed questions, applied to the Faculty of Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), campus Sousa-PB, but also to their graduating students likely 2012.1 and entrepreneurs working in their city. The research methodology used as a bibliographic and descriptive with a quantitative and qualitative approach. So that, one of the goals achieved was to carry out a self-evaluation of the learners with the skills and competences acquired in the course. Noting in the analysis of the results that were acquired by the majority of respondents (60 %), skills such as effective communication, and creativity and innovation, and expertise as the development of logical reasoning and critical about the organization (above 70 %). As for skills, the most cited were the same: effective communication, motivation, and dynamism and capacity management (80%). As the expectations of entrepreneurs, skills relate to the ability to identify problems, formulate and implement solutions (100%). As for the skills, the most cited were: Interpersonal Relationship, creativity and innovation, the capacity of management (50 %). In this context, it is understood in the vision of the respondents, in general, that the professional accounting needs have initiatives, be creative and agile, since he is responsible for organizing the services of Accounting.
