As medidas de proteção e controle à violência sexual infanto-juvenil: as ações adotadas pela justiça da infância e juventude.

Abstract

The present study aims to demonstrate the actions developed by Justice of Childhood and Youth with respect to combat sexual violence against children and adolescents in the city of Sousa-PB. For this work was used documentary research indirect making use of doctrines, scientific articles available on internet and an analysis of the legislation which deals with the subject, aiming to build a theoretical frame. Therefore, was made a historical approach about the recognition of children and adolescents as subjects of rights. Then, was raised historical landmarks where the international community has demonstrated real interest in protecting the child and adolescent, establishing the Doctrine of Integral Protection, enshrined by Federal Constitution and the Statute of Children and Adolescents. The research also contemplated an approach to violations of the rights of children and youth, starting from an analysis of the types of violence and, consequently, the profile of the people involved in situation of sexual violence. Was reflected about the measures of protection and control promoted by the Judiciary Power, in order to get more effective results. Through these measures, we try to educate the local population about the importance of the problem, using clear language and objective for people to can contribute with the prevention of sexual violence and also to communicate to the responsible agencies in combating the issue. The prevention is a measure of efficacy and when this fails, should other mechanisms come on the scene to alleviate the consequences left in the victim. Finally, it was concluded that the measures taken by the Judiciary Power, though not implemented in its entirety, are consistent with the ideals of combating sexual violence of children and youth.
