Résumé:
The research was developed based on the perception of a good number of black peasant students, that live as residents, tenants or sharecroppers in Sumé, Cariri paraibano. The agrarian theme in the study guide at the schools in Brazil is very important in order to have reflective formation of students. Thus, this capstone carried out a research on the black rural students’ graduation in Sumé starting on XIX century, using ecclesiastics sources, and also using notary publics, inventories, censuses, legislation besides a structured bibliographic reference. Marxist historic-dialectical materialism was used to analyze the contradictions in the agrarian field and, throughout the class struggle between the landowners and the slave black community, who formed a black peasant community in Sumé area. This part of black peasant community has been keeping themselves nowadays through the capitalist system that reorganizes themselves seeking for new ways to keep this hard work community apart. Based on that, it was observed if the Sociology’s teaching in Sumé was bringing up the problem of the contradiction that affects the social relationship among the High School students as black descendants of an excluded and marginalized people from their rights to land. At the end of this research, it was concluded that in the content and themes in the number of school documents and the Sociology books used either on a public or private school in Sumé, there is no relation with the black peasen. It is very important to add this kind of content to the curriculum, seeking a possibility to bring up the revolutionary knowledge about Sumé students' reality.
