Resumo:
The interplay of young people with virtual space became frequent in school environment and has created countless cultural, political and educacional changes, besides it obtained more emphasis due the expansion of Covid-19 which caused the suspension of face-to-face classes. This scenario lead us to the aim of studying the impacts of social network in the education and, particularly, at a public school, identifying and analyzing how young students use and how they think about these social networks, considering high school students in the municipality of Montadas – PB. For the purpose of understand how this mindset and the habit of using it can impact in their educational formative process from a sociologycal perspective. For this, we made a literature analysis that attend to the changes lived by the comtemporary society through the conceptual framework, debating with important theoretical influences about this phenomenon discussion, such as: Zygmunt Bauman, Manuel Castells, Raquel Recuero e Pierre Lévy and we verified in historical perpective how studies evoluated about conceptual and methodological terms since popularization of WEB 2.0 technology. Furthermore, we introduced contributions of Balman with the regard to theoricalmethodological aspects, to promote living dialogue, as a sociological practice, with the students experiences and exposures, to understand the knowledges of daily life by them during the whole research process, mindfully observing the behavior in the school environment and making use of focus group meetings, semi-structured interviews by WhatsApp and applying questionnaires in the classroom and on digital platforms as methodological procedures to the research development. Also introducing the limitations and problems faced because of health crisis and the implementation of remote learning which challenged its development. The frequent use of smartphone device enhance the visits in digital plataforms, including social networks, mainly to attend the students demand in pandemic times, dividing internet access, previously only to maintaining their social relationships, now with school activities. Therefore, Sociology has the vocation to identify in the lived world the possibilities of knowledge production based on the reflection of everyday life and to stimulate freedom of choice in the face of the problems and dilemas experienced, especially in the school contexto with the emergence of the virtual world through social networks.
