The National Program for Medium Regulated by CONAMA in its resolution 01/86 including in its directives to the preservation and restoration of the environment as well as the tools to evaluate the impacts of these, namely the EIA and the RIMA. The environmental impacts are caused by any human action modifier of the countryside, going to change the landscape, aggression in the wild and reflections in nature. The old model is violated and changed radically in its essence, is a small actions or massive direct influence of man. This work has the objective to analyze the social and environmental impacts on Gator Beach in the last decade (2005-2015), and the relationship of these impacts to economic development in the region. The research was conducted from August 2013 to April 2015, during monthly visits in order to collect data and information relevant to the issue in the Tourist Gator Park as well as public agencies, namely the Department of Fisheries and Environment, Secretariat Housing of the city of Cabedelo, SUDEMA, Steering Committee of Cabedelo Beach, IBAMA, the Federal Court, and others directly linked and responsible for the maintenance and inspection of the park. During visits materials were collected, data and files that were important to the development and completion of the research. Through literature review and institutional analysis harvested may be diagnosed several impacts over the past decade in Gator Beach, and relevant diagnosis the Solid Waste, the deforestation and the destruction of the original forest, the Paraiba River Pollution. Although, existed for more than a decade the Government's projects and initiatives to develop a park that meets the economic, social interests in line and respect for the environment, these are just inefficient policies and inert that never left the drawing board. And the only measures taken consist of the withdrawal of the restaurants of Union Permanent Preservation Area.
