Abstract:
The ecodesign is an environmental management tool, in which the company strives to incorporate environmental aspects in developing their products. Currently for the development of products with good environmental performance for more than 150 eco-design tools. The objective of this study was to analyze from the tools Ecodesign PILOT and TEE, as the ecodesign strategies applied to three products designed as green, manufactured by companies that are part of Prime and /or ITCG, can contribute to improving the environmental performance of the products and companies. To develop this work, inside of the demands of the Program, we conducted as exploratory and descriptive research . In relation to the method she opted for the multicase study. The primary data were collected the proprietors of the companies close to through interviews and two questionnaires, and to know the intensiveness of the environmental aspects of the products (raw materials, manufacturing, transportation, use or disposition) it was adopted, in full, the questionnaire of Ecodesign PILOT Assistant. Already the second questionnaire, elaborated starting from TEE, it approached the eight strategies of Ecodesign. The results show that the modulo prismático autoestruturado and the banco carambola are intensive in raw materials and the bloco cerâmico econômico intensive in manufacturig. They stand out as environmental aspects common to the three products: the materials used don't cause environmental impacts; during the productive process and use doesn't have generation of residues; the consumption of energy in the production is minimum; they have a long useful life and they can be recycled. It was concluded that all the three products in the light of two used tools, are in fact green products and that the combined use of two tools, that consider the whole life cycle, is of great importance for a more discerning analysis of the environmental performance of a product.
