Résumé:
The new technological innovations that are being used by producers on family farms in rural areas do not always lead to sustainable agriculture and strengthening more equitable social relations among family farmers. In this context, this thesis was to evaluate the socioeconomic profile of farmers Ribeiro group and yield components of potato-of-purge in the Paraiba swamp, using the method of Evaluation of Impact of Technological Innovations (AMBITEC) adapted, in socioeconomic and environmental dimensions. The second part of the research studied the effects of quantity and water for irrigation of potato-of-purge grown in two environments (with and without shading), at different levels of irrigation. The output variables of the potato-of-purge analyzed in the study were seed weight, weight of tubers, tuber size, diameter of the tuber, number of seeds and number of convolvos grown in 5 levels of irrigation. The experimental design was randomized blocks with six replications and five treatments used irrigation based on crop evapotranspiration (ETc): L1 = 25% ETc; L2 = 50% etc. L3 = 75% etc. L4 = 100% ETc and L5 = 125 etc. Irrigation was performed in three days irrigation interval and the amount of water applied was based on the L4 treatment. The results indicated that the use of technological innovation in the study area allowed real gains more than 33% of the average income of farmers, and improvements in product quality indicators, environmental health, occupational health and safety and food safety. In addition, all variables fenometric of potato-purging were strongly influenced by both water levels applied to the culture and cultivation conditions with shading and no shading.
