Resumo:
Green information technology aims to combine social, economic and environmental performance. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of early sustainable practices at the Federal University of Campina Grande, at the Teacher Training Center - CFP. It will be based on participatory observation qualified to the practices developed in information technology at the research site. The results are intended to show how campus activities are analyzed; the practices presented in high costs, energy and paper consumption, among other practices that go against the green IT trends and can be redefined, as well as actions that are being implemented; as a possibility of change. Thus, the present work proposes to know sustainable practices for the development of information technology as a challenge for the analyzed campus, considering the effectiveness of its benefits.
