Resumo:
This work studies into the role of social worker senses that guide this practice, this is a matter
of great interest to people who are in the training course of Social Service who has an interest
in understanding this relationship, and also for people who are favored with these actions.
Should think the question of the practice of social workers in their various fields, not only in
compliance with the policy that is entered, but the determinations that involves using
directions and intentions that guide. The intent of a new vision challenges us to approach on
the knowledge of man about his involvement with the world in their strategies , their mode of
action to the demands presented and their way of being limited , with uncertainties that its
action does not always develop in the direction that initially guided them. Higher education in
Brazil is the field that is inserted Policy of Student Assistance, which the social worker acts .
In this respect we try to establish an understanding of this making , analyzing the trajectory of
higher education in Brazil and the insertion of Social Work whose work on coping
expressions of social issues , which are also inserted in education . The methodology used
was through analysis of documents, data analysis in the case interview with social workers
active on campuses UFCG, legislation and studies related to the topic. The use of logotherapy
of Victor Frankl for a better approach and understanding of the senses that lead to practical
method.
