Abstract

This work of completion sought to investigate the impact of psychological distress on the family life of the users of the Centre for Psychosocial Attention Children and Youth John Paul II , analyzed the impacts experienced by family members of people with psychological distress making a piece of reality from users of CAPS i in Sousa , to survey the changes occurring in family and social life of people with psychological distress in historical contexts , to investigate how the participation or lack the same affects the quality of life of these people and testifying about the mental health services offered by the units . Made a historical reform movements around the world and in Brazil , spoke about the psychiatric reform , the implementation of the SUS , the substitute services and on families living with mental suffering and difficulties that they encounter in everyday life dealing with it.
