Abstract

This labor completion of course aimed to analyze the goals of professional social work in the support center for family health and meet the performance of that core in the municipality of Sousa / PB . To achieve the goal , it appears , in the theoretical framework , a reflection on the trajectory of the SUS implementation and the role of social workers in primary care policy. The research also brings challenges and difficulties that the social worker finds the realization of its objectives in this field. As instruments for the realization of this work , the literature search and document search based on bibliographies , and report on field diary constructed from lived experience in supervised I and II , through the dialectical method were used . Being a good current service , recently formed within the health system , significant difficulties to approach the NASF are found , since the existing bibliographies are few. As for the NASF in the municipality of Sousa / PB , the difficulty of inserting the social worker in another sector of health policy and the lack of recognition of the work of professional referred by the staff of the Family Health Strategy and own it was found service users.
