Abstract

This Course Conclusion Work (CCW) approaches the problematic of selectivity in the sphere of education, specifically, about the student assistance policy in times of capital crisis and State’s Counter-reformation. In this sense, it has presented as main objective to analyze the Program of Assistance to the Undergraduate Studies, also known as "Reuni Scholarship" of the Federal University of Campina Grande, campus Cajazeiras. It´s about a field, exploratory and case study, since it has tried to explore particularity of student assistance, in a specific way, “Reuni Scholarship” of a determined empirical locus, Cajazeira´s campus of the Federal University of Campina Grande, on high Paraíba´s backwoods. For data collection, we used a questionnaire - with open questions - applied to subjects in the research. Some of the major "findings" of the survey confirm the principle of targeting of social policies, specifically, the Student Assistance Policy, as one of its main guiding and the need for resources and expansion of the program investigated.
