Abstract:
This study aims to identify the key contributions and implications of the type of
education EYA , brings to the lives of young people and adults entered this school ,
which was the result of experiences during our internship at IFPB - Campus Sousa .
To identify these contributions, a bibliographic study on Education was held in Brazil
and also about the EJA, performing work led us to conduct field research, through
the use of questionnaires that were analyzed qualitatively. The paper is structured as
follows: the first chapter provides a historical digression on the emergence of
education in Brazil, emphasizing the main laws that contributed to its realization. The
second chapter brings the history of the emergence of vocational education in Brazil
emphasizing the laws that boosted its consolidation. The third chapter deals with the
emergence of EJA in Brazil, identifying the laws that supported consolidation, the
methodological procedures used in the research, and finally bring the data analysis in
order to arrive at more accurate answers on the subject. The research allowed us to
reach the following result for our question: the subjects returning classrooms in
courses offered in EJA modality feel encouraged to follow perfecting the study, which
conveys more confidence to try a disputed place in the labor market. These young
adults seeking exactly professional development to achieve employment.
