Abstract

Faced with the growing number of young people and adolescents committing illegal acts. The Statute of Children and Adolescents provides specialized care to these children through educational measures. In the course of this research starting from its historical origin, addressing briefly the difference between offense and crime, trying to show what types of educational measures, as if of its implementation, its failure to comply and their possible solutions. In this sense the present study aims to make an analysis of the difficulties faced in the implementation of socio-educational measures in particular the fulfillment of the detention procedure, applied for justice specialized according to the child's status and adolescents (Law 8.069 / 90), the Centre educational Adolescent Mr Raimundo Benevides Gadelha Dock, located in Sousa - Paraíba. We sought to examine whether in fact these measures are having an effect, they are being efficient to re-socialize adolescents in conflict with the law, or are offering them repeated chances to persist in crime given its relative mildness. Through the responses of the internal semi-structured questionnaire, we can conclude that the structure, the team of professionals, education, leisure and other areas of the CEA has not contributed to the rehabilitation process. Finally, we can see the importance of the analysis of a smaller recovery center, because to quantify the measurement of effectiveness or not of what determines the law and the practices and policies adopted for the reinsertion of this teenager.
