Resumen:
This Work Completion of course examines the precariousness of Student Assistance
at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Campus Sousa / PB, the
perception of / the students entered / in the university residence. Thus, we seek to
identify what are the main factors that culminate with the precariousness by focusing
on the services offered, identifying the perception of / the university residents
regarding this problem. The theme emerged from the concerns arising from our
experience, the trainee status in that institution Student Assistance. The research
was exploratory fundamentally qualitative nature. The subjects corresponded to /
inserted the students / in the University Residence. Our sample was not probabilistic
intentional, applied with a total of fourteen students. Data collection was processed
through a semi-structured interview guide. Data analysis was performed by the
speech content analysis technique. The analysis method used is the dialectical
historical materialism, because they understand that this provides a concrete
understanding of reality in its multiple determinations, seeking to understand it
beyond its immediacy. The survey results were revealing that the Student Assistance
offered to / resident students UFCG campus Sousa, is not realized in the current
situation, so contrasting, which is established by PNAES. Thus, does not guarantee
that / the same / the complete higher education, given that they are met minimal way,
corroborating the precariousness, scrapping, focusing and restricting the rights that
were won the hard way. But undoubtedly, the state is failing its responsibilities in the
case discussed, the / the students who are part / in the Student Assistance.
